Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known by his stage name Stonebwoy, is an Afro Pop, Dancehall and Reggae artiste. He is one of the top-class musical acts selling the name and culture of Ghana to the international community through music. Livingstone was born in 1988 in Ashaiman in the Greater Accra region of Ghana and began his music career whilst still in school.
After his break into the professional scene, he has releazed a number of highly successful singles and albums, including ‘Grade 1’, 'Necessary Evil’ and ‘Epistles of Mama’ and has to his credit several hit songs such as ‘Tomorrow’, ‘Top Skanka’ and ‘Tuff Seed’. Livingstone has been recognized both locally and internationally for his music. In 2015, he received the biggest endorsement of his career when he was voted the ‘Best International Act: Africa category’ at the 2015 BET Awards. He was also the ‘Artiste of the Year’ during the 2015 Ghana Music Awards. Livingstone, who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Burniton Music Group has been listed as one of 2019’s 50 Young CEOs by YCEO and Avance Media.
