Ace Anan Ankomah is one of the best-known faces in the legal profession in Ghana, with over two decades experience in law practice. Ace attended Mfantsipim School in Cape Coast before enrolling at the University of Ghana, Legon where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) in 1990.
He continued to the Ghana Law School for his professional studies and was called to the bar in 1992. He also later proceeded to the Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada to study for his Masters of Laws (LL.M). He was a Senior Lecturer in Civil Litigation at the Ghana School of Law between 2005 and 2012 before forming the law firm Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah (BELA), a well-respected law firm, with his partners. He has served on the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce.
He has received a number of awards for his exploits, including the Legon Hall Exhibition Award, 1988; the Law Students' Union, the Ghana Bar Association Prize for Outstanding Academic Performance, 1991 and the Queen's Dean of Graduate Studies and Queen's Graduate Awards, 1993-1994.
