Kojo Addae-Mensah is the Chief Executive Officer ofDatabank Financial Services, a leading investment bank in Ghana that provides corporate advisory, brokerage, fund management and research services to local investors. Prior to assuming his current role, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Ghana Commercial Bank, now GCB Bank. Kojo also worked with Barclays Bank Ghana as a Chief Operating Officer between 2009 and 2012.
Kojo Addae-Mensah studied for his first degree in economics from the University of Ghana, after which he pursued his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the same institution. His excellent knowledge and appreciation of finance and diligence have been the bedrock to his rise through Ghana’s financial system. He is well-versed in financial and operational risk as well as portfolio management, commercial banking and strategic planning.
Kojo is a Fellow of the fifth class of the Africa Leadership Initiative - West Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
He is also the founding director of Changing Lives Endowment Fund (CLEF), a fund set up to influence the provision of quality education to bright but needy students.
His desire to inspire the young generation has seen him take up mentorship and career guidance roles as a passionate pastime to students in various educational institutions across the country.
