Frank Adu Jnr is the immediate past Managing Director of CAL Bank, one of the indigenous banks that survived the turbulence witnessed in Ghana’s banking and financial sector in 2017. He is one of the most astute bankers with over 27 years experience in the banking sector. Whilst serving as the MD of CAL Bank, he was also the Chairman of the Board of The Roman Ridge School, a very successful international school he co-founded and also serves on the Advisory Board of the College of Humanities of the University of Ghana.
Frank is an Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, and was also awarded an Honorary Doctorate degree by the University of Ghana. He is an alumni of the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme, SAID Business School, Oxford University.
He is a member of the Board of the Foundation for Orthopedics and Complex Spine; a member of the Board of Metropolitan Life Insurance; and also serves on the board of Legacy Bond Limited, a special purpose vehicle set up for the repayment of debt owed by the Government to the Bulk Distribution Companies (BDCs). He was also the Chairman of the Board of Golden Beach Hotels Group between 2008 and 2010.
Frank was awarded a lifetime award at the 2016 Ghana Banking Awards and has also been recognized by the Legislative Black Caucus of the Georgia Assembly for his contribution to the macro-economic stability, growth and prosperity of African countries.
