Nana Prah Agyensaim VI, known in private life as Wellington E. Jonah, is one of the most distinguished traditional leaders in Ghana. He is the Paramount Chief of the Assin Owirenkyi Traditional Area (Assin Kushea) in the Central Region and a Member of the Central Regional House of Chiefs.
Nana holds an LLB/BA (Honourss) in Business Law from the Metropolitan University of London. He is also aBarrister at –Law and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana having been called to the Ghana Bar in 1995. In other capacities outside his traditional duties, Nana has worked in a number of institutions both in and outside Ghana.
He worked with Arnold and Sons in London after his law degree and then moved to Ghana where he served as a legal officer at the Ministry of Trade. Nana is a business law consultant and lobbyist who also serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of Industrial and Engineering Services Ghana Ltd. He is currently a member of the renowned law firm, Minka-Premo & Co.
Among his other duties, Nana serves on the boards of Perseus Mining Ghana Limited, Mobus Developments, Maxam Ghana Limited, Ghacem Cement Foundation, and Ghacem Limited. He was also the former Chairman of the Board of the Tema Development Corporation and served as a Member of the Council of State.
