Musa Amidou Johnson, popularly known as Joey Chernyim or Joey Ghana is a Ghanaian actor and comedian. He played with the Black Starlets, the national Under-17 football team as a footballer before travelling to Thailand to pursue a professional career with TTM Thailand Tobacco Monopoly F.C.
waiting to be selected for full time pitch duty, he decided to try his hands as acting, in which he was naturally talented. This proved to be an inspired move and his acting career took off, leading to roles in productions such as the 2003 Duk Dum Dui movie in which he played along with leading Thai Comedian, Thep Pog-ngam. He has also played roles in movies such as Teng Nong-Khon Maha-Hia, Bangkok Revenge, and most recently, Cry No Fear.
He was presented the 2014 African Achievers Award for his exceptional contribution to the entertainment industry both home and abroad.
