Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng is a Ghanaian comedian, MC, musician and actor. He attended God’s Wisdom Preparatory School and continued to O’Reilly Secondary School at Adabraka in Accra before training as a journalist. He soon pursued his passion in acting, appearing in “Chokor Trotro,” a television comedy show where he played the role of Chemu, a trotro’s mate.
The Jamestown native was able to channel the authentic experience of a bus conductor in the capital and gained many fans across the country. In 2010, a successful turn at the MTN Nite of 1010 Laughs and Music established him as a bonafide stand-up comedy star. In 2015, he started his own TV sitcom, “Cow and Chicken” which is currently running on UTV. Funny Face, as he is popularly known, has received numerous awards and is the face of many commercial brands in the country.
