Randy Abbey

Ransford Abbey, also known as Randy Abbey, is a media consultant and the current host of “Good Morning Ghana”, an award-winning current affairs program which has aired on Metro TV Ghana for the past 17 years.

Born in 1974 in Accra, Randy had his secondary school education at the Accra Academy. He also holds an MBA in General Management from the Australian Institute of Business, Australia, a certificate in HR Management and Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) as well as Advance Certificate In Public Relations, Advertising, And Marketing From Ghana Institute of Journalism.

Randy is currently pursuing his Doctoral Studies at the Swiss Business School, in Zurich Switzerland. Randy has received recognition for his contribution to the growth and development of the media landscape in Ghana. He has been awarded the highest national award ‘Order of the Volta’ in 2006. He also received a Grand Medal in 2006 for his role in the qualification and performance of the Black Stars Ghana’s maiden appearance at the FIFA World Cup in Germany.
