Bright Nana Amfoh is a celebrated Ghanaian broadcast journalist whose mature disposition and incisive take on national issues has contributed to his stature in the journalism fraternity. He is one of the young and reasonable faces on mainstream television in Ghana who has helped inform and empower Ghanaians to make informed decisions in their daily lives.
Hailing from Breman Kuntanse in Central Region of Ghana, Bright had his secondary education at the Breman Asikuma Secondary School (BASS), before moving to the Accra Academy for his sixth form education. He holds a first degree in Political Science from the University of Ghana and a Master’s degree in Mass Communication which he also earned from the same institution. Noted for his objectivity in his interviewing style, Bright has had the privilege of working for some top brands in television in Ghana, including TV3, Multi TV and Net 2 TV, all based in Accra.
He is a CNN Journalism Fellow. He has worked in various capacities, including Assignment Editor and Producer and has extensive knowledge of rural Ghana. Bright has also covered stories in different countries including, Nigeria, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, among others. He is a pianist and a chorister in the Methodist church.
