Cynthia Quarcoo is an experienced corporate and finance lawyer and the founder and Managing Partner of CQ Legal and Consulting. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Business Law, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law and an LLM in Corporate Commercial Law.
She is a Barrister of England and Wales and a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. Cynthia’s legal experience spans both Ghana and the United Kingdom, having worked as a Senior Associate in the Banking and Finance Practice of the International law firm, Fasken Martineau LLP in London. She also served as a Consultant Senior Lawyer in the International Finance and Corporate Department of Radix Legal and Consulting in London. Cynthia has also had stints with an auditing firm, PriceWaterHouse Coopers, where she worked as an analyst.
She contributed to the World Bank’s flagship “Doing Business Project” (2007-2017), Investment Guide to Sub-Saharan Africa: ‘What Chinese Investors Need to Know’ 2011 as well as the International Trade Center, Model Contracts for Small Firms: Legal Guidance for Doing International Business 2010.
