Theresa Oppong-Beeko is the Chief Executive Officer of Manet Group, a real estate and civil engineering firm which she established in 1992. It is currently the second largest real estate firm and among the top twenty firms in the country. Among its subsidiaries are Manet Housing, a real estate development company; Manet Paradise, a three star hotel resort; Manet Construction, a civil engineering wing and Manet Towers, an office complex .
Since its founding, Dr. Oppong-Beeko has guided the company through the choppy waters of Ghana’s challenging real estate sector, completing over 1800 homes for a growing list of satisfied buyers. Its first development, Manet Cottage was so well received by the market that others soon followed, including the Manet Cottage Annex, Manet Gardens and Manet Ville. Dr. Oppong-Beeko attributes this to the company’s insistence on the highest ethical standards, customer service and leadership in product development that have seen the Manet brand become synonymous with professionalism in real estate development. She is reputed to be one of the wealthiest women in the country and is held up as an example and inspiration to female entrepreneurs.
